Asiana Bridal Fashion Show Grosvenor House 3rd Feb

18/02/2019

The highly regarded media brand Asiana which produces a glossy quarterly wedding magazine hosted their lavish bridal show at the Grosvenor House Park Lane in London on Sunday 3rd February 2019.

Pukka PR has previously organised events with Asian fashion designers & promoters in collaboration with Asiana and has covered two of Asiana's bridal shows at the Park Plaza hotel.  We anticipated an excellent show just as the previous ones and we were again delighted.

Exhibition stands displaying bridal wear, jewellery, make-up and Asian wedding suppliers were in abundance in The Great Room.  My mother Amita and I enjoyed browsing stands and the delicious Indian buffet provided by the renowned Madhu's restaurant & catering company.

Sanjay Anand MBE, founder of Madhu's welcomed us at the entrance of the catwalk show room where he also directed other guests.  We've seen Sanjay efficiently manage several prestigious Asian functions over the years, he owns one of the most successful award-winning Indian catering businesses in the industry.

We eagerly took our seats for the evening catwalk show which opened with an Indian classical dancing duo followed by specially selected designer collections featuring: Frontier Raas, RDC London, Monga's, Khushboo by Chand, Vanshik Menswear, Tehxeeb London and East Shopping Centre.

While models gracefully posed in exquisite costumes the audience were entertained by a lively percussionist, ghazal singer accompanied by musicians and classical violinists.  Asiana's spectacular catwalk show was like a theatrical production creating an uplifting experience for visitors and, brides and grooms-to-be gained some inspiring ideas for their wedding outfits.

Asiana's bridal fashion show was supported by Madhu's, Sunrise Radio including other brands and East Shopping Centre sponsored the catwalk.  Joggy Kang provided make-up for models.
