Isabell Kristensen's fabulous fashion show & party was held at BAFTA on Friday 16th February 2018 coinciding with London Fashion Week. Her luxurious Autumn/Winter collection ‘Silver Linings' was shown at BAFTA two days prior to the BAFTA film awards resulting in a glamorous celebration of fashion and film.
Guests included TV celebrities, loyal clients, fashion journalists, friends and family some of whom enjoyed posing for photos with the statuesque designer Isabell on the red carpet. Isabell's son and assistant designer Martin Kristensen who donned a snazzy silver jacket helped to oversee proceedings front-of-house and behind the scenes. Graceful ice sculptures of models wearing Kristensen's past designs decorated the David Lean rooms.
Kristensen's Silver Linings collection comprised of elegant and timeless investment pieces. Several of the outfits featured in Kristensen's fashion show were lined with silver silk and this apparently was the reason for her new collection being named Silver Linings. Kristensen's dresses varied in length from mini to long gowns made with silk, satin and organza. Shades of silver and gold were the prominent tones seen throughout the collection with some brocade patterns and crystal embellishment.
Bykov's jewellery complimented Kristensen's creations on the catwalk. The Russian jewellery designers showcased a selection of their stylish earrings and pendants.
After the fashion show guests were invited to BAFTA's Princess Anne theatre for a screening of ‘The Path of Inspiration' an informative documentary film about the history of Russian jewellery-making and how it has evolved over two thousand years.
We were excited and delighted to have been invited to Isabell's exclusive event at BAFTA. At a time where female empowerment is stronger than ever ladies like Isabell epitomise talent and ambition and she's proved that females are capable of achieving their dreams especially in the highly competitive fashion industry.
