Regent Street Motor Show 5th November 2016

07/11/2016

Pukka PR returned to the Regent Street Motor Show organised by Royal Automobile Club on Saturday 5th November 2016.  Once again the historic veteran cars were accompanied by their owners and some were dressed in period costumes complimenting the cars.  The same cars were due to participate in Bonhams ‘London to Brighton Veteran Car Run' the following day on 6th November.

‘Total' presented their Red Bull Formula One racing car and visitors were given the opportunity to drive Lewis Hamilton's F1 Mercedes in a Top Gear Experience simulator.

World renowned car manufacturers including Renault and BMW showcased their sustainable electric vehicles with innovative features.

As the event drew to a close, people lined the road to watch veteran cars in motion as they left Regent Street sounding their horns.  A lady dressed in vintage clothing gave her car a push-start to get the engine spinning and received applause from the crowds...like a scene from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!
