In the week leading up to British Grand Prix weekend ‘Race Week London' a day dedicated to motorsport took place on 30 June. The historical setting at the Honourable Artillery Company made a picturesque backdrop for the festival which featured an impressive display of F1 racing cars, supercars and vintage cars.
At the live arena, ‘Xtreme' team comprising of British champion cycle riders thrilled spectators with their show involving daredevil stunts.
TV chat show host Sir Michael Parkinson made a special guest appearance at Race Week London during the Driver's Cricket Match where top cricketers and F1 drivers participated. The cricket match was in aid of Lord's Taverners charity supporting young disadvantaged people. Visitors were also invited to bid for unique items and experiences in a silent auction with proceeds going to the same charity.
Viewing superb automobile displays at the artillery grounds was an ideal activity on that sweltering summer's day. Visitors basked in the sunshine while enjoying cool refreshments at the Dstrkt hospitality marquee.
GP Management the organisers of Race Week London, hosted the Grand Prix Ball at Hurlingham Club the following day which is an annual fundraising event also featured on Pukka PR website in 2010.
