Boudoir of Beasts Halloween Lingerie Show & Party Kings Club Chelsea Friday 28 October 2011
London embraced the spirit of Halloween with a hot mix of festivities and Pukka PR celebrated Halloween by hosting an extra special premiere event ‘Boudoir of Beasts' Lingerie Show and Party in the Persian Lounge at the new Kings Club in Chelsea. Luckily the unique lingerie brand ‘Kiss Me Deadly' perfectly fitted in with the Halloween theme.
Kiss Me Deadly "Elegant Lingerie for Femme Fatales" has a very vintage 40's/50's inspired look and offers an ultra feminine range of designer lingerie mainly made with satin and lace including brassieres, chemises, knickers, corselettes, basques, stylish shape wear, stockings & suspenders, clinchers, garters and girdles.
The exotic Persian Lounge made an ideal back drop for the lingerie show with 8 specially selected models including Britain's Next Top Model Jessica-Louise Abbide who came to model for Kiss Me Deadly in the Boudoir of Beasts event straight after another catwalk show.
Models were transformed into ‘Beastly Beauties' with vampish make-up and dressed in Kiss Me Deadly lingerie looking seductive, edgy and dramatic. Music was provided by DJ James Park who became a Zombie for the night and had fun spinning feverish party tunes building up to the lingerie show.
I organised and introduced ‘Boudoir of Beasts' lingerie show which opened with Jackson's ‘Thriller' followed by music I'd requested including Peggy Lee's ‘Fever', Nina Simone's ‘Feeling Good' and Lady Marmalade Moulin Rouge for the Finale when all the models playfully entertained and tantalised the audience dancing to the music. One of the models Scarlette O'Harlette had a surprise treat for the audience and did some Burlesque dancing using red feather fans.
After the show Halloween celebrations resumed in the Persian Lounge and Roof Terrace where delicious Lebanese food was offered to guests by Kings Club and Sweetness & Light handmade cupcakes were available to purchase. Guests came dressed up in fabulous costumes and themed outfits including Brides of Dracula, Vintage Film Noir, Horny Devils while a big bouncy Marshmallow man, a scary Jester and a grotesque green Monster attracted lots of attention when they entered the room. Make-up artists had even been brought in especially to do theatrical Halloween themed make-up for all the staff at Kings Club so they too could join in the Halloween festivities.
After 11.30pm Kings Club was heaving with Halloween party guests who ghouled and fooled around whilst consuming magnums of champagne and vodka. More entertainment was laid on to enjoy with female fire stick performers and sexy podium dancers. The cream of Chelsea's vampire aristocracy turned up to party and indulged in blood-sucking pleasures plunging fangs into each other late into the night...
