‘Rhythm A La Mode' Fashion Show & Musical Extravaganza for BBC Children In Need

Over the years the BBC Children in Need charity has become a British tradition with several showbiz celebrities participating in the annual TV fundraising event and people pledging donations. All over the country people organise and participate in charity events/activities helping to raise money for this good cause. I was invited to cover the event ‘Rhythm A La Mode' Fashion Show & Musical Extravaganza at Embassy London in support of BBC Children In Need organised by Dilema, a Models & Events agency.
The former X-Factor contestant Chico hosted the show and also performed a couple of lively entertaining songs including Ricky Martin's ‘Living La Vida Loca' encouraging people in the audience to join in the dancing.

The music showcase featured appearances from Cleopatra who are making a comeback after a break from the music business. The sister trio performed one of their old well known tracks ‘Cleopatra Comin Atcha' as well as new material. A new sassy pop girl group Candy Rock performed a range of tracks including their debut single ‘Candy Shop' and a high energy rendition of Lenny Kravitz' rock hit ‘Are You Gonna Go My Way.'

British Supermodel Sophie Anderton who was in great form opened the fashion show and designers featured were Hannah Marie Hutchison Couture showcasing her elegant silk gown collection with a Grecian design theme and Omar Mansoor, a designer whose dress collection we've previously featured on Pukka PR website at the LDFS event during London Fashion Week.

Dilema Agency's press info has stated that they managed to raise £1,300.00 in donations from their event and the BBC invited the organisers with Chico and Sophie Anderton to appear live on Children in Need and present their cheque.  Dilema agency did a commendable job by raising funds for Children In Need and Pukka PR were glad to support the event ‘Rhythm A La Mode, an enjoyable entertaining fundraising evening.
