On the 1st day of London Fashion Week 12 September 2014, Holding London hosted ‘The Fast and The Fashionable' in association with the British Fashion Council at Press nightclub.  Long queues formed prior to doors opening and people enjoyed posing next to the red F1 racing car displayed outside before going in to the club for the event.

Guests browsed garments and accessories exhibited by fashion brands in the club lounge area. British and European Designers Eva Cammarata, Giosa Milano, Mario Valentino, Ashley Lloyds, Umber Panezai and SR Luxury were featured in the exhibition & fashion show. During intervals live acts Tenth Electric, Red Prism and City Girlz performed.  After the fashion & entertainment showcases LFW celebrations continued late into the evening at the club afterparty.

The Epilepsy Society were raising awareness of their cause at the event.

Article 2.  LFW Fashions Finest at Grand Connaught Hotel 13 September 2014

Fashions Finest LFW shows were held at the Grand Connaught Hotel during 13th/14th September 2014 and Pukka PR covered catwalk shows on 13 Sept.

The show opened with designer Jeetinder Sandhu's menswear collection influenced by Eastern culture. His range included blazers, coats, tops, kaftan shirts, shorts, camel prints and, turbans were worn with some ensembles.

I saw Eva Cammarata for the 2nd time (saw her showcase the day before at Fast & Fashionable event) her brand specialises in ethical fashion using sustainable fabrics in garments manufactured in Italy and UK.

Spanish fashion brand Ingrid Bratt's collection consisted of trendy figure-hugging garments in black and white.

Eki Orleans whose designs are inspired by a fusion of African & western culture showcased swimwear and floaty dresses in silk, satin and chiffon with exotic colours and patterns.

No Fixed Abode's ‘Urban Warriors' were a collection of men & women's streetwear apparel which included blue camouflage printed outfits with yellow leather and denim detailing.

‘The Coliseum Collection' by designer Adnan Bayyat were bespoke outfits made with Scottish tartan, frills and pleats in bright blue, yellow, red, black and matching hats which brought a festive feel to the fashion show finale.  Apparently Adnan's creations have been worn by flamboyant artistes like Lady Ga Ga.

Article 3.  Closing Day of London Fashion Week Somerset House 16 September 2014

On the closing day of London Fashion Week Tuesday 16 September I organised a half-day photo shoot in the grounds of Somerset House where I took photos of five male models.

After the photo shoot I stayed on at the LFW hub observing trends and taking more photos as the atmosphere was buzzing. Designers, fashion students and fashion geeks flock to Somerset House during LFW wearing outré outfits capturing the interest of photographers, media and voyeurs.  It was a smashing day spent at Somerset House, in fact one of my most pro-active and favourite LFWs.
